West Ham are one of the sides who are showing an interest in the defender, who is contracted at Chelsea until 2029, but he might take some convincing in order to make the move to the Hammers. Disasi is believed to be ‘unconvinced’ by a move to East London, despite Potter being a fan of the player. The financials of the deal could also make it tricky for West Ham, with Chelsea demanding his salary is paid in full, plus they are hoping to receive a £5m loan fee. Disasi is yet to feature for Chelsea in the Premier League this season, and it wasn’t much better for him in the previous campaign. The French defender started just four Premier League games during the 2024/2025 season, playing a total of 364 minutes for the club. A departure feels like the best move for all parties, and it will be interesting to see whether the Hammers can convince Disasi to make the switch across London. It wasn’t too long ago that Chelsea paid just under £39m to bring him to Stamford Bridge, but it’s not quite worked out for him at the club so far.
