Youngsters Tyler Fredricson and Chido Obi will be involved in the Red Devils’ pres-season and their smaller numbers perhaps suggest they are closing to the first-team plans than last season.Defender Fredicson is moving from number 55 to number 33 after making great strides last term, which included a Premier League debut in April at Wolves.

Meanwhile, Obi has been handed the number 32 shirt, previously wearing number 56 having only joined United in November from Arsenal’s academy.

The 17-year-old striker made his league debut in February away to Tottenham and scored his first senior goals in the 3-1 post-season friendly win against Hong Kong, China.
