Ireland, Bahrain, Dubai, and Oman Announce Work Permit Requirements

Three countries in the Middle East have recently announced new work permit requirements for foreign nationals. Ireland has published its 2026 salaries that foreigners must earn to qualify for three major work permit routes. Bahrain is requiring employees to meet six conditions to renew their work permits, while Dubai is introducing a virtual work visa with a minimum monthly earning requirement. Oman has approved special work permits for nine professions.
