Dani Olmo reveals why he loves playing with Pedri and Lamine Yamal at Barcelona

Dani Olmo has been talking about his team-mates at Barcelona following his return to the club in the summer for a second stint.The Spain star has highlighted how he loves playing alongside Pedri, for club and country, and feels the duo already have a very strong connection.“Pedri. I’m pretty clear on. It’s very easy to play alongside him, he makes things a lot easier for you,” he told GQ Hype.“I always tell him, ‘If I have a problem, I’ll pass you the ball’… And he says the same thing to me ‘I’ll give you the ball and you do the rest.’“We have that connection on the pitch that just comes out.”Olmo was also full of praise for Lamine Yamal and knows that the 17-year-old is only going to get better and better as he develops at Barcelona.“We’re all amazed by him. He’s unique. He should continue as he’s been doing,” he added.“He’s still very young and has a long way to go to achieve more than he’s already achieved.”All three players are likely to be named in the next Spain squad for March’s Nations League quarter-final ties with the Netherlands.
