The club endured its worst-ever Premier League finish—15th place—and suffered a painful defeat to Tottenham in the Europa League final in May.The loss meant United ended the season without a trophy and now face just their second campaign without European football in the past 35 years.Despite the setbacks, morale within the squad remains strong.

Speaking to BBC Sport, Shaw underlined the team’s ambition to challenge for top honors.“The aim has to be to win the Premier League.

I know people will be questioning me for saying this after last season.

I’m sure the whole team, if you ask them, all have the same aim.“Even the manager.

He probably wouldn’t say it in the press.

But, you know, we all need to have the same ambition, belief, and that real family sort of feeling together, and you all strive for the same thing.”Squad Overhaul Continues Under AmorimSince Amorim’s arrival, United have undergone a period of transition.
