Bournemouth have put a price tag of £45million on Milos Kerkez after Liverpool showed an interest in signing the left back.Kerkez, 21, has had an impressive season and is likely to leave this summer, when he will have three years left on his contract.

Bournemouth want a straight cash deal and would not be interested in Caoimhin Kelleher, the Liverpool goalkeeper, being used as a makeweight.Kerkez, who has scored two goals and provided six assists as an attacking full back for Andoni Iraola’s team, is one of Liverpool’s options if they want to add competition for Andy Robertson, 31, and Konstantinos Tsimikas, 28.

He was signed from AZ Alkmaar for £15.5million two years ago by Richard Hughes, then Bournemouth’s technical director who has
